| Well we are all moved into our home.. Still unpacking... Its hard to unpack though, because its noisy (boxes, tape) and the baby sleeps every 2 hours. And within those two hours that she is awake I do have other things I need to do.. lol. So far I have our room, the two bathrooms, the kitchen and the living room somewhat organized... I still have the upstairs hallway, downstairs hall and Myleighs room (thats the hardest of every room).
My first day of my new job today. I have to be there for 9... I don't know what's going on.. I don't know much about my job.. I don't even know how much I'm getting paid.. lol talk about jumping in blind! It makes it more adventurous this way, I suppose... | comments: COMMENT OR ELSE!!!!!   |

| So now the BIG DAY is tomorrow, no longer the 1st of Jan. We're moving into our new (rented) house tomorrow!!! I can't friggin wait. Theres pics on facebook :)
Today was a huge busy day... Sandra (Robs mom), my mom, Rob and I were busy packing (mainly Rob and his mom did the packing) and loading/unloading boxes at the new house. I did a lot of loading and unloading of boxes, it was sooo crazy. Im getting really psyched though. I had a panic attack sometime this evening though, my stomache hurt sooo bad. Its just so much stress.. Moving tomorrow, dealing with a baby, 2 cats, my messy strewn-about apartment... And to top it all off, I start a new job on the 4th of January (got my start-date!)... So all these new things, and Im so uncertain about stuff....
Our little driveway is like an ice-rink, so I have to go out and buy salt. I also need to buy a new area-carpet for our new living room.. I need a new garbage can... I wanted to buy a few more odds n' ends, but we have to wait til Robs payday, and then my future payday... Yay for pay!

Robs dad and Jo were supposed to stop in today to see Myleigh, but I don't think thats happening.
My apartment is going to be the death of me. Its so ugly right now, and messy, and boxes are piled in the entrance area like a huge mountain. Its stressing me out. I can't wait to move.... Getting the keys hopefully on the 29th!! :) :) Moving the furniture on the 31st, moving in officially on the 1st :) :P

| Had a great Christmas morning with Myleigh, Rob, Sandra and her bf Wayne.
Sandra and Wayne stayed at the hotel next door and came over this morning at 8. We got the coffee going and opened up stocks and by 9am Myleigh was crabby and ready for a nap (she had gotten up at 7:30), so we opened all our presents and when she woke up she opened hers :) She got so many amazing things from her family, Im so happy for her.
We all got spoiled :) Wayne bought us a double toaster, and Im thrilled to bits cause we needed a new one... Rob got a GPS for the car - yay! No more borrowing his dads. I got a new bedset I wanted for the new place, and a sheet set as well, both from Sandra... She really spent a lot of money on us - even got us stockings!

| 2 weeks til we move!
I'm so excited :)
But we've got a bunch of things we need to buy for the new place.. errrghhhh... I need a new area rug for the livingroom (the one we have now is old and not in the best shape, so Mae is taking it), we need new towels (ours are falling apart), a new bathroom rug set for the 2nd bathroom, bedding for the twin bed in Myleighs room (yes the place comes semi-furnished), still need to buy a new bed set for Robs and my new bed (we're giving Sandra our queen bed set since it originally belonged to her and the new place comes with a new double bedroom set but we need bedding).... STUFFFFFFFFFFFF... lol. Im excited though.
I need to pay Mike gas for the use of his truck too. And the cost of hookups and first time fees at the new place. UGHH.
I start work in January at the Golf Course! Im so excitedddd. Jo's got a lot of projects on the go, she told me she hopes she doesnt overwhelm me.
We went to Mike and Jo's last night.. Rob, Mike and Myleigh hung out downstairs in the MANATARIUM and watched the hockey game, and Jo and I hung out upstairs and talked for a few hours.. Its the second time we've done that this week, and the hours just fly by! Its great having a great relationship with my boss and future step-mother-in-law haha. Not saying we wont have our bad moments.. But still. At least Im not terrified of her like I was with other unnamed bosses at other unnamed places of work!
Not feeling so good today.. sore everywhere... ughh I will not get the flu, I will not get the flu.... :( :( :( :(

Rob is going to LOSE HIS MIND when he comes home and finds out.

| ughhhh what a pain in the ass this is becoming.
Storkcraft, the maker of Myleigh's crib, is recalling their drop down panelled cribs. Which is what Myleigh has. Apparently its killed 4 babies, one being Myleighs age. They are telling everyone NOT to use this crib until they have called Storkcrafts toll free number or visited their site for the free kit to fix the drop down panel and turn it into a secure panel. Okay, thats all fine and dandy except for the fact that their # isn't working (all of Canada is calling) and their site is down. Probably too many people flooding it. SOOOOOOO. I've taken Myleigh out of her comfortable beautiful potential death trap of a crib, and put her in her ugly hard-as-a-rock playpen to sleep until further notice.
I called Walmart and they said Storkcraft will sooooon (who knows WHEN) be sending them the kits. Well thats peachy. They said I could return the crib if I absolutely have to. Except for the fact that Ive had it a year and they said I might have bought it from Zellers and thats what they are concerned about, even though Sandra bought it for us from Walmart... I just no longer have the receipt to prove it. Pah.
What a pain.
Robs gone to Ottawa for a doctors appt... Don't ask what about, he doesn't even know. Blood work, I think. We won't receive the results or anything for a long while. | So as of today I have officially quit Moncions.
WOOHOOO.
I talked to my boss and she was really good about it. YAYYY.
We signed the lease to the new house on Saturday afternoon. So rent every month is $825, and we need a $400 deposit. It doesn't have to be paid all at once, so Im not worried. I will have $100 by the end of the week, and I can probably just to $100 intervals (babysitting money).
Tonight we interviewed Myrna (Adam and Mels babysitter for Jakob) to babysit Myleigh when I start my new job. Shes awesome. $25/day, which isn't bad. So I have a babysitter now, and its one less thing to worry about.
Babysat Liam today.. I babysit him tomorrow as well. And then again on Thursday.
Rob is playing his new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game.. yuck! lol.
Just spent $41 dollars tonight on cough medicine for Myleigh (10), Teething Medicine (10) and Enfamil Vitamin A, D & C drops (20 bucks) because Myleigh is no longer on formula (2% milk for bottles and regular baby food, some adult food) and still needs vitamin supplements. | WOOHOOOO!!
Finally got ourselves a new home. Its a beautiful brand new (well, 1 year old) town house in a new subdivision in Petawawa (THANK GOD NOT IN PEMBROKE OR DEEP RIVER OR CHALK RIVER WOOO!).... Rent is 825/mo, its a split level 2bdrm, 1.5bath, has a deck in the back of the house, a huge backyard, a nice sized driveway that even I could shovel no problemo :) I am so excited.. We move in January 1st..... :) She is asking first months rent and a deposit.. I dont know where I will come up with this deposit, but I will think of something.. sigh sigh... Its always something!!!!
Spending the day by myself in Renfrew tomorrow.. I need a freakin break! Plus I have to sit at Sandra's and wait for her Cogeco guy to show up to install her cable, as she is still in Niagara Falls... I cant wait, seriously!!! :)
Just finished babysitting Liam... what a cutie lol...
Oh, its been snowing all day. I doubt the snow will stay... But its still been snowing!!!!!!

| Myleigh started clapping on cue today! I am so excited! We're doing paddy cake paddy cake together, and then we start clapping and going YAYYY and she gets so excited and claps right along with us :)
She's turning 8 months old on Tuesday :) :) :)

| I've been really terrible when it comes to writing in here. I just mainly stick to Facebook these days.. Well theres so much drama in my life right now Im just trying to minimize the stress and the hassle of having to update and keep up with a whole different site... I'll still post though...
Currently waiting for Miss Myleigh to wake up... Liam (the baby Im babysitting, hes 4 days older than Myleigh) is coming over in an hour. Yesterday I watched both of them as well and Liam is sick, so he was pretty upset most the day... He's very sensitive too, so whenever Myleigh cries or screeches or whines, Liam bursts into tears. Then I have two crying/whining 7.5 month olds. HOW do people have twins?! lol!!!
Cold weather outside :( Not looking forward to winter. My Maternity Leave ends soon. I need to make money so I cant just be a stay at home mom :( :( :( :( I wish I could though.
Our house viewing went TERRIBLE on Wednesday night. We're not buying, just looking to rent. And it was the worst viewing of my LIFE. I had a nice chat with the landlord yesterday about it. Oh well, back to the drawing board I guess :( :( :( We're just outgrowing our basement apartment and I want a yard for my kid... bah.

My aunt Holly and her partner Nicole are coming to visit us from Georgetown today.. They've never been here before (I think my aunt last visited us here like 15years ago) for a few days... Last night was the most TRAUMATIC EGG-FILLED NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!!
Mae, my neighbour in my apartment building, came over. She looked really upset, and was like, can you come over to my place for a second? So I stopped what I was doing (finally getting Sonnets bday letter organized, im so behind), and went next door.
She said, I was boiling these eggs that expired a few days ago, but I figured I could still boil them... And then.... listen.
So I put my ear down to the eggs, and oh my F-ing God, they were CHIRPING. I was like, is this a joke? I put my ear to them again and sure enough I heard cute little baby chick chirps. I backed away slowly and I was like NOOO F-ING WAAAAY.......
We both went back to my house and I told everyone and they didnt believe me. Mae brought the eggs but they had stopped chirping by then, but if you put your ear to them you could hear PECKING. And Mae said one was VIBRATING. WTF.
I pulled out the phone book and tried calling every farm available. Well, Sunday night... None were available. Just answering machines.
So I called the OSPCA. It was after hours, so their message is to leave your phone # with their pager service and they will "call you right back" incase its an animal emergency.. Well to me this WAS an emergency! Needless to say I left my # but they never called back. What if my cat had been bleeding to death on the side of the road? Nice and reliable, they are... ANYWAY. I called the Vet afterhours paging service and its 105 dollars to page a vet after hours... so I said nuts to that!!!!
Rob was all "Lets squish them and put them out of their misery.." I was like NOOOO!!! That is CRUEL...
So we heated up a magic-bag and put them in it to keep them warm...
I was so freaked out and panicked... I called my friend Cassandra and she came over, she was going to take them for the night and keep them warm and call the OSPCA again in the morning....
But then Mae jumped on Google and googled our situation, and apparently another person went through this before too, and it turned out to be just normal hardboiled eggs.
So we took a chance, cracked the eggs open, and there were no chickens. Just normal hardboiled eggs.
Its Gods practical joke on us.
I was so disturbed for the rest of the night.

| So I had surgery yesterday... The dentist removed my second molar on the top right side of my mouth, and the wisdom tooth underneath it that was severely and complicatedly (is that a word?) impacted. So much fun. I told the dentist I didnt want to be sedated due to cost, but he said if I wasnt sedated for this, he could freeze me til the cows come home but I would still feel it and it would be SEVERELY uncomfortable he says. So I went to sleep.
The nurse told me I snored so loud LOL. How embarassing. LOLOL. She asked how Rob puts up with my snoring LOL!!!!!
So for medication Im on oxycodone... I thought it was oxycontin but I was wrong. This stuff sucks anyway, its way too strong-ish. I passed out on the bathroom floor yesterday and started throwing up and poor Robert was trying to shake me awake. He said he literally (literally he says!) thought I was going to die. My eyes were apparently rolling in the back of my head and my lips and face were white. I just remember passing out on the cold floor and wanting to stay there forever lol.
My mouth sucks right now.

| So Bruce, the owner of the house on the boulevard that Rob and I want to rent, said he'd get back to me today or tomorrow morning about the rent. Im praying to GODDDDD its reasonable. Just because Rob loves the house so much. Its got its pluses, and minuses, but Im sure I can move on in life if we don't get it. Its just that this is the first place Ive seen Rob get excited about.

| Not too much going on today... So far its been a pretty long day. Myleigh only slept long enough for me to have a shower, and then I guess I coughed or something and it woke her up... Shes a really light sleeper... She went back down again around 12 so shes been asleep for a whoooleee hourrr WOOHOOOOooo... lol.
Last night Rob and I went to go view a house (to rent) on the Boulevard. It looks great, but we don't know the rent yet. The owner doesn't even know the rent, and he's going to get back to us within the next couple of days. I was really specific with how much I would pay, and I will not go over. Especially for a house right on the highway.. So loud. And right by the train tracks. | A drunk driver killed Emily last night. She's a really sweet girl I worked with at the store. The driver slammed into the back of Em's car (Emily was stopped and about to make a turn into her own driveway) and Em's car ended up almost in her neighbours driveway. The OPP say that Emily died instantly when her car engulfed in flames. Sandie was there, she lived next door to Emily, and Sandie watched Emily "burn alive" as she says, while consoling Emily's screaming mother. Parents having to stand there watching their daughter burn alive while no one can get to the car or save their daughter.. The firefighters got there too late.
The 28yr old "unidentified" woman is in jail right now awaiting charges.
I bawled like a baby when I found out.
